Review authorization for hospital inpatient and outpatient stay. Enter in the system or billing purposes. Insurance verification for inpatient and outpatient stay. Contacting Health plan vor authorization and verification. Explaining patient for deductible and co-insurance.

Friendly staff. 45 min treats. Patients range between orthopedics and neuro in an outpatient ortho setting. Fast work pace. May be working inpatient once a week or a weekend.

Used to be an excellent company until the affiliation with CHI
Are used to love and wake up every morning enjoying my job my people and the company and then the last two years turned into into a dictatorship to shift to chi with no support with the new leader ship so they just eliminate positions

Overall, I enjoyed working at this job. I always felt eager to get to work and always said I learned something new everyday. With the recent change in leadership the workplace culture began to change in a way I felt was declining. I enjoyed helping my team to learn new areas of the eligibility and configuration functions and to assist them with ways to increase productivity and work together as a team. I really felt this was the most important aspect to my position as a manager. Focus has, from my perspective, strayed from an atmosphere of collaboration and team work to one or two leaders making all decisions regarding change and work flow.

Was a great 30 years.
Good hospital, good staff, happy patients. Many corporation changes over the years. Loved when we had more Nuns. Hearing that new changes are in place and the hospital is getting better all the time.
