Excellent work environment and benefits
The David's Family is incredible. Safety is very important and employees are rewarded accordingly. It was unfortunate that my position was eliminated because I was hoping to be there for a long time!

Management will use you to make the store look better, job down grades and loss of wages
I loved helped women with there big day, management and such where terrible. I felt used and was placed in a job that was below my experience. They placed me in a different position blow me after being short staffed and hired more inplace of my position.
ProsFun at times
ConsShort or no breaks

Good for college students
David's Bridal will provide you with a lot of experience that you may not have already had. It's a great job to learn how to break out of your shell and be a motivated salesperson. Unfortunately, the pay does not reflect the amount of pressure and work and responsibility. The CSR's, Stylists, DSP's and Alterations workers have a lot of responsibility and are underpaid and under appreciated for their efforts. District Management will be focused on money and goals only, not the employees as people. The management at my location was unprofessional in the ways that they handled issues and would call out employees in front of customers and incite drama. This is a great job for college students to learn how to gain valuable experience. Not a long term career.
ProsExperience in sales, customer service and dealing with people from various backgrounds.
ConsPay, work environment, management, upper-management

If I could give them a zero I would
I worked for davids bridal for 10 years and and never once gained the respect I deserved. Upper management DOES NOT CARE one but about their employees including HR!!! I was thrown to the side like garbage after dedicating a decade of my life to them.
ProsNone.
ConsEverything.

Fun Environment
Of course there are some things that could improve such as wages and a better system of commission for sales employees. But overall it is a very nice place to work. Managers take consideration to schedule requests and work schedules are usually posted 2 to 3 weeks in advance.
Prosfun work environment, friendly co-workers, discounts on merchandise, flexible scheduling
Consshort breaks, commission payouts, customers can be very stressful

File all paperwork after entered.

Co-workers were like family and also very helpful and encouraging.
There was no hard part of the job.
The most enjoyable was the atmosphere of fun and cheerfulness.
