productive, enjoyable
Through working, I've got the opportunities to meet many different people. Serving different customers with different needs is the art of retail and that's also the hardest of the job. I enjoy working in a team where one can support the other but I work really productively under a minimum supervision environment. I love watching my co-worker serving customers especially the staff that worked there over a period of time, they understand customers needs that's when I learn several of how to become better at serving customers. The most enjoyable moments at work is the rewarding and satisfaction look of customers about our products.

fun work and flexible to my own schedule
its fun having different students every day and learning from one another. each kid has its own way of learning and it keeps me creative, and dynamic so that way i can get their atention and wanting to be part of the program. its also fun to learn from their culture (china) the hardest part of the job i would say its the time difference, sometimes i just feel so tired but i still wake up and do my job!

This is fun job somedays
This job does not feel like a job and hours a awfully early. B y 9am I am done for the day Have the free time has been great. I adore the students they are so much fun. Most of the kids I work with are 3-10 year olds. I changed companies because Dada changed owner and they were having a lot of problems.

Current situation with DADA
Currently, there are big changes happening at DADA that has affected the jobs and positions of many contracted teachers and mentors. The requirements have been changed and now the company is asking for a lot of documents including criminal backgrounds and mandatory TESOL or ESL certifications. The mentors have been fired and pressure is at the top. The management is poorly handled and e-mails together with other communications are highly mishandled often. Send an email and you will never get a reply back. Technical issues are another issue and the TA and TI are slow in responding to problems. I am very disappointed as this is my first teaching online job. I have spent hours in the morning trying to do my job while all these changes are happening in the last minute putting pressure on teachers and other personnel. Very disorganized and unprofessional.
ProsGood pay for a part-time job, students are adorable and willing to learn, the pay is often on time, working from home is convenient.
ConsPoor management, requirements are not worth the time, too many requirements including criminal backgrounds.

If you are willing to work the awkward hours required it is a rewarding and good supplement for income.
Due to language barriers there are some challenges resolving issues that may arise, however I found after working with the company for about 2 years that following the rules set out pretty much prevents any issues. I enjoyed providing the teaching opportunities and interacting with the kids and Families. No real relationship or growth within the company happens Beyond interaction with basic support employees but I did receive two raises within that time.
ProsConsistency
ConsTime of day required to work for a company in China while living in the U.S., no real building of relationships and work history

Terrible communication and no regard for employee
Dada was an exciting prospect when I was first offered a job there however after two weeks I was no longer being scheduled for classes. This was a problem as I had quit my job to work for Dada. I tried contacting them and their response was less than poor. They told me I should reschedule all of my classes on the app. I did so and it helped nothing. When you are actually assigned classes though, it is very pleasant. Material is prepared for you. And meeting Chinese kids was a massive eye opener to Chinese culture. Would not recommend working for them. They will toss you to the curb without reason.

this company does not give you work and does not pay fairly at all. They change contracts and a moment's notice whether you agree to it or not. They don't care about the employees.

The worst company eve
Don’t work for DaDa. It has stolen our classes ! We paid for the classes and we worked hard to get extra classes as rewards and now DaDa has taken away all these classes ! We won’t buy any more classes, this kind of cheating must be stopped, but the management doesn’t care at all ! Most of users are now leaving DaDa and many teachers are losing their regular students.

Great students but low pay
DaDa have nice students and a reliable platform. Most of the teaching materials are good (Oxford Reading Tree in particular). They have excellent online IT support. You only need to commit to 5 hours a week and there are no fixed peak hours.
Prosnice students, one student per class, good materials, reliable platform, staff friendly and responsive
Conshigh fines for absence, potentially losing your student if you take holiday, too many teachers - not many bookings, low pay

Would no recommend
The job was a mess from the start, When I first started all the teachers were promised to start in May but we were left waiting around for the team to sort out problems their side as they had launched the system too early. After a month of waiting, we finally got started to only. have one or two kids a day when we were promised more. at the start, there were lots of problems with the connection (WIFI) not understanding pay etc.. After another couple of weeks waiting we all finally started to find out the time slots are 00:00 am - 2:00 pm so if you want to make enough money to support yourself you need to be working during the night. We had some basic training but not told we weren't teachers we are "free talkers" so our job is to try and get the kids talking as much as possible. But we were being reviewed as teachers. DADA themselves said we were not teachers but the reviewed our lessons "randomly" and was reviewing us like teachers (which doesn't sound bad right) The kids were amazing I loved all of them but not were all angels but they are kids. sometimes if they didn't like your lesson they would review you as not so good this is were DADA is meant to go in look at the lesson and understand that the kid just didn't want to learn but they didn't. Now, you think we'd be able to contact DADA right? NO... every email you said to the team you recived an automatic email back with no answer to your question or help you needed so you were left on your own. (our o

A Scam
STAY AWAY! All this company do is deceive. You are not paid for your first 10 lessons. Although it doesn't even really matter that much considering they pay £3.40 per lesson! Then after your first 10 lessons, suddenly there is hardly any bookings for your lessons... No support. Lesson plans are basically useless. TERRIBLE
