Overview

Our team is dedicated to providing our patients with an exceptional experience and we provide them with the tools, technology and support they need for their clinical care. As a CT technologist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of CT technology services, including diagnosis, treatment planning, patient education, documentation and diagnostic testing. You must have excellent communication skills as well as strong organizational skills that allow us to deliver on time and within budget.

Duties

The person in this position is responsible for performing diagnostic procedures that result in accurate diagnosis of tumors, tissue damage and other medical conditions and perform preparation of specimens to be used as part or all of the treatment plan (eg, radiology). This screening patients with various types of cancers, testing them and recording information about each patient's health status. Detailed job duties include:

  • Perform CT scan and x-ray procedures.
  • Perform diagnostic tests on patients, including but not limited t: performing physical examination of the patient, performing routine laboratory testing in accordance with established protocols for diagnosis and treatment, conducting radiographic evaluations using various instruments such as microscopes, micrographs, etc.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources (electronic and non-invasive) that may be used by physicians/scientists during clinical practice activities.
  • Provide technical assistance when needed to support physicians’ work assignments.

Qualification

  • Experience with CT and/or other imaging equipment
  • Ability to work in an office environment, including the use of computers for data entry (email) or spreadsheets
  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field
