Overall Reviews at Copart, Inc
2.0
If you like cars, this is ok.
You will run your tail off in marginally maintained equipment on rough surfaces the equipment wasn't designed for; moving, loading, and unloading auction vehicles. Repair requests will be mostly ignored unless the loader is completely inoperative. When an accident occurs such as a dropped vehicle, regardless of yard surface conditions or equipment issues, it is always the operator's fault. Regardless of the circumstances and your incident statement it will be rewritten to make it the operators fault. It keeps corporate off yard management's back.

it was my favorite job
i loed to work here and learn and the high pace enviornment was wild but exciting every time. though some of the work load was not suitable for one person management always made sure to take care of the employees and hired as much people needed.

8 - 5 typical day at work, busy during quarter end and year end. the company moved its headquarters back in 2013 from Fairfield, California to Dallas, Texas. Copart is a fast growing company.

Horrible place to work...only good if you need a quick job to help get on your feet
Take all the reviews about this company seriously. This just a gif to get on your feet and move on. Don't expect management to support you or any ideas to help improve work flow. Company has very high turnover rate. This company only wants yes men/women to work for them , if you don't agree with them are jump when they say you will be fired.
ProsIt's close to toll way and interstate
ConsNo lunch room for employees to eat, uncomfortable environment very cold, no raises unless you are top management

The worst job I’ve ever had!
Overall
Management is horrible and messy! They don’t care about your life outside of work or rather you have a family or not. They will work you like a dog.

Dont work here
Was a great place to work then they fired all upper management and it became bad. I would not advise anyone to work here. Very depressing. They say that family is everything yet when you have a family crisis they hold it against you.

Worst Company Ever
I am 43 years old and have worked since I was 14. This is the WORST company I’ve ever worked for. There is no transparency because if managements mouth is moving, it’s a lie. The benefits are trash but expensive. The favoritism is through the roof ridiculous. The job is not hard but they strive to make it as hard as possible. Stability is not the word to use for this position. If you have another option... Go with the other option. I wish I had gone with mine.

Good job, horrible location
The pay, software, and actual duties were great. The management was unenthusiastic and the employees were jaded, rude, and lacked proper training. I rarely got a clear answer and had to seek training off the clock (and by taking it upon myself to text and email strangers in other branches for help) in order to do my job. We rarely had the tools or staff available to complete our work load.

environment was good and managers were fun
My day consist of answer phones, dispatch drivers on 2 way radio, file, payroll, data entry, schedule appointments, confirm pick up from drivers, train new hires, help up front with counter when customer comes in to pick up vehicle, help insurance adjuster with location of vehicle and the cost to pick up damaged vehicles. All my managers their were great and understanding. The hardest part of my job was training people that really didn't want to be trained.
ProsBenefits were great all around
