A except from an email I sent after I left the company. It outlines my grievances and what I find to be short commings of the company:
So to start, I feel that the idea of how your company compensates its employees is a negative system. I understand that as a contracted company that you need to make agreed upon goals with the company that hired you, however using the ABC program to incentive customer service is a detriment to the actual customer. The less time that they take to fully answer and fully provide customer service, the more that the person would get paid due to calculations of call per hour and the less talk time per call means more calls per hour while providing the full information and providing full customer service is a detriment to the employee due to calls like that taking on average 5-10 mins which is an average of 6-12 calls per hour. So being someone on the ABC program, I would rather take more calls per hour and not provide full customer service if that will provide me more calls per hour to make a B or above grade. I would find that this something that commonly happened where customers would complain that they were provided completely different or not the full information.
I also found that while many times it would be stated that we could calculate what we would need to do to get a desired amount hourly through a program that would be provided, however that was not the case. When I asked about this, the response that I received gave me the impres

-variety of schedules if your lucky enough to have some to choose from during the interview (e.g. split shift, 4x10, 8x5)

-you can move up in the company rather quickly before you make it to the production floor (whether that is good or bad is up for interpretation)
-overtime is available a majority of the time if you need to make extra money
-the test is open book
-if you are a true fast learner then you may enjoy it
-good for beginners who want to get their foot in the door
Cons:
-you are expected to work your shift for a year before the company will allow you to participate in shift bidding....otherwise you may luck out if you find someone who wants to permanently trade shifts
-you are "guaranteed" one particular day off during the week---the other day may vary based on client need so don't make any weekly plans too early
-the training is really fast paced and you aren't allowed to write anything down except on the computer but you don't have the time to study your notes since you are only allowed to be on your computer during work hours
-training doesn't really help you with your calls because they just give you examples of where to look for the answer but you don't actually do a call simulation
-training is ONLY good for peop

Horrible job
Well this may be a bit long.
$14 an hour, overtime when you want, normally make some good friends that can help with all the stress.
Training was about three weeks and we didn't go over most of the stuff we need to know while on calls. The trainer goes over knowledge that's mostly irrelevant to the job, then you need to take a test on what you learn. You can take notes and use on the test, but even the notes dont cover certain things on the test. If the trainer calls on you to answer a question and you dont know it, or you know it but have anxiety for being called on and dont say the right thing you're made to feel like a complete idiot and the trainer gets upset with you. We were promised overtime for the orientation plus the 40 hours for the regular week, and never got it so they said oh we never said wed give overtime for that.
Also, they said they're flexible with school schedules or personal reasons to need a specific schedule, but they dont. I had to drop all my college classes because they refused to accommodate me for it. They said I should just take online classes instead.
Then we go onto the call room floor.
The place isn't very clean, hard to breathe with the smell, dust and germs in the air. Even if someone is sick and contagious no one asks them to go home and if you do you'll get an occurence (when they add up you get fired). Theyll yell at you for "slip time" which is taking too long to log into the computer and pull up the windows and it's your fau

The most disorganized company I've ever encountered.
I writing this review because I was fired for things that were completely out of my control. I only was employed for TWO DAYS. I Interviewed with this company during the middle of the pandemic and the interview process was fine. I was after that every with south for me.
1) I never had a recruiter assigned for my file. I never knew when my actual start date would be, so that I could give my current employer, at the time, my two weeks notice. So many different people from HR sent me things to sign or paperwork to take care of, but when I tried to reach out to them, I was left in the dark. It seemed like no one could give me simple answers that I was looking for. There were countless times where I was told to reach out to my recruiter, but I never knew who that was, which I expressed EVERY TIME I came in contact with someone via email. This went on for entire MONTH, I kept getting the run around with NO HELP and I was a new hire.
2) FINALLY, in the last week of June. I receive an email from a recruiter telling me that my start date is June 29th. That same week I receive a call from a trainer making sure that I will be able to do training the next week. I told him I could not because I still needed to work my last week at my previous employer. NO ONE would reach out to me when I was trying to communicate to them except him. He apologized because HR has been doing the same thing to other new hires which I think its absolutely rude! I asked him about other training dates and

Their equipment and software like their core systems, screen sharing is always messing up, and when the software gose out they blame you if you don't manage to get back in the system fast enough then they won't pay you. They will want you to log out because they can only pay you for the time your in core. They expect you to troubleshoot on your own, flushing the DNS, clear the cache and the safari cache and if that doesn't work they will give you the okay to call IT and still when you call them they take forever to answer you and when you do get lucky to get them on the phone they will get the core system working for a while or a day or 2 until you have problems again. Their systems are horrible and they say you have flexible hours and a balance work life but how is that true, when they have most of your holidays prohibited and the ones that are not they will allow you to take. At the beginning of hire they tell you that you have PTO time if you choose to take it but they lie about it. What they do is change your schedule with out you knowing any of it and expect you to work the hours and drop your plans you have to fit their needs Before they let me go they had me locked in to a schedule for 2 weeks straight and I was beyond pessd off, because they didn't let me know anything about it until I checked my schedule in Nice . tl;dr Conduent is a good place to work at, a good job to start. As long as you do what is asked, it is a great full time, set schedule job.
I have worked at Conduent for over 2 years now, back when it was still Xerox. During the transition, a lot of things have changed, but a lot have stayed the same as well. Is it a good job? Is it a well-paying job? Do you feel unique and a part of the team here? I believe all of those answers are yes.
You have a 40-hour work week if you work full-time, and there are options to work 8 hours 5 days a week, and occasionally have the opportunity to work 10 hours 4 days a week depending on what your position is. The pay is good for a desk job, and with each new promotion the pay goes up a little bit, which does add up after a while. It would be nice if the pay was higher, but because Conduent is contracted and it is not the actual company, it makes sense and I don't fault them for it.
You take phone calls for your shift, assisting customers with any issues that they have and provide resolutions or transfer them to someone that can help. In a typical work week, most calls go well, and a few times the call can be hard to continue, whether it be a difficult issue they are having or the customer is upset. For the most part the workflow is manageable and can be slightly overwhelming at times, but after working there for a while you get the hang of it. I was a former employee of this company and the company started an "initiative " what they were doing was if you got a bad review from a customer you were sent home without pay and written up for it. They eventually got rid of sending people home without pay but I happened several times to employees I knew. Customers sometimes left bad reviews and they didn't always explain why so their was no explanation as to why they got a bad review.Working under these conditions is horrible the desks were falling apart the computers were slow and there is a constant bed bug situation here as well as the main general manager is a horrible woman. We aren't allowed to bring stuff like water bottles or food into the building it must be placed in the lockers and if we brought a coat we must wear the coat when at our desk or put it in the locker. The company also did not provide locks so either you had to go out and buy a lock or leave your stuff in an unsafe locker and there was no guard to look after the lockers so anyone could steal anything. There was also a major issue of people stealing other peoples food. I had my food stolen 3 different times. And nothing was done to fix it for myself or others. Also we did have a break room. Your not supposed to bring your phones to your desks for customer privacy reasons which seemed total justified but they started making it so no one could bring their phones into the break room which was no where near a computer or customer information so why would
I wanted to stay with them long term. I had worked for them from January all the way to September. I literally believed around July that I was going to be here for closer to 4-5 years to help get through college. Rude costumers I can handle, and I love the satisfaction I got from calming down an irate customer and became almost best friends at times with people over the phone. My OM at first was a pretty cool guy, but I'll get to him shortly. Both my supervisors were strict, and my first one was demoted because of our team's stats and attendance. At first I felt bad for him, but literally with what he kept pushing and what the 2nd supervisor kept pushing eventually caused me to leave... that's right scripts! Before I was selected to do graveyards which had the pay differential I was looking for, I had killer stats, I met their requirements and tied for 1st in my training team. Well because my stats showed a little fluctuation (mind you it was never poor satisfaction and was either almost at their goal or at their goal), these supervisors kept pushing for scripts for me to read to keep it above passing.. well it backfired and I was put on their training express program to help holster my stats back up, but even that failed. After the demotion of my first supervisor and in came the second, it still suffered. Not a good experience, I cannot recommend.
The hiring process was complicated and lengthy, leading me to believe and hope I was setting up for a job that might work out well and last some time. This turned out not to be the case.
Training classes are either very early, or very late, which does make a more difficult start to the experience.
I will say the training staff is great and the training experience was good, other than the schedule.
The very best part of the job is the people you'll meet and work with there.
Unfortunately, it is after training that you are thrown into the full reality of the job.
A typical day involves mostly stressful calls, with mostly unhappy, rude and impatient customers. In my brief experience this applies to both customer care and tech support. Tech support is usually more stressful and unpleasant because customers have already been on the phone for some time and are usually extremely impatient. No matter how much all the provided information and resources provided to us was emphasized during training, I found that way too often it did not provide the answer or technical resolution i needed for the customer. It was a regular occurance to have technical issues which kept me from accessing a particular article or information that I had to hope just might answer the customers question or issue. Too often the step by step information provided that we were supposed to use for technical fixes did not solve the customer's problem.

It's a call center...
It's a call center. Obviously. If you choose to work at Conduent you will be providing technical support to a client that makes phones,mp3 players, tablets and computers (both laptop and desktop). When you first start out you'll be learning to troubleshoot software issues with the phones, mp3 players and tablets. If you do well you will be given the opportunity to move on to working with the computers.
If you take public transportation know that there is no easy way to get to the building and you will be walking about 1/2 a mile from the bus stop. It's a pleasant walk and can be made shorter by figuring out shortcuts.
There is a ton of room for advancement. I was only there 7 months, but was "promoted" multiple times. And by that I mean I was given the role of mentor for the new hires on the floor, trained to assist the new employees with their first calls and moved on to work on the computers. From there you can be promoted to a tier 2 employee and fill more of a supervisor role (if a call if too difficult or the customer just isn't getting what they need from you, they are who you escalate to). And with each new skill, from phones to computers to tier 2 you will get pay raises.
Everyone on the management team is supportive and willing to help in both a professional and personal manner. I was experiencing some trouble at home and brought the issue to my direct supervisor and the floor manager, just so they were aware of any issues this might have with my employment.

Bundan iki sene öncesine kadar bu şirketin CEO'sundan sonra ikinci adam olan insan kaynakları müdürü resmen istediği gibi at koşturuyordu. Ne operasyon müdürleri ne de proje yöneticisi bu kadının yanında vasıfsız işçi gibiydiler. Herhangi bir yaptırımları yoktu. Hollanda kültüründen gelen bu ik yöneticisi türk insanını zerre tanımıyordu. Düşünün ki o zamanlar kapatılan projelerinden şu an ki projesine zorla adam kaydırdılar. Sırf tazminat ödememek için ve kaydırdığı projelerde tamamen kanunsuz olmasına rağmen sırf müşteri istiyor diye çalışanlara zorla imza attırmaya çalıştılar. birkaç kişi atmak istemeyince de o zamanın ik yöneticisi çalışana aynen şunu söylüyor. Lack of support/claims- no teamwork. The leads and supervisors don’t want you sending questions. What are they there for? Especially for new hires ? You put your questions in a que and wait for an answer. You can’t physically reach out to someone with a question. There is no chat room for processors . That is crazy to me . Definitely lack of support and teamwork. Everyone is on their own.

Make overtime an option instead of turning your employees into slaves who have no choice but to show up or find a different job. Treat everyone equally instead of letting two dorks who have been here 20 years decide who gets promoted and who gets crapped on. Fire the idiots who do absolutely nothing and reward those that actually work. Fix the machinery so we can all actually perform our jobs. Duh.

At the Erlanger Ky site you work either a 8 hour shift or a 12 hour shift. But it doesn’t matter which one you pick because you will be working non stop 7 days a week for 8 hour employees and 5 or 6 days for 12 hour employees, and no they don’t mention that when your hired either.

Quick ! Got an email asking me to choose a good time for an interview. Got the call, she talked about the job for about 5 mins then asked me about past experiences at other jobs...like Scenario questions. The Call lasted for about 10 mins in total. The Next day I received an email for the job offer. Process took 3 days in total.
