Commercial Bank of Ethiopia is one of the Big Three government owned but professionally managed companies in Ethiopia. Working there gives emplyees an advantage. I recommend CBE to anyone who is interested in a career in the banking sector.

Good work place that uses good technology
I really appreciate commercial bank of Ethiopia for technologies it uses at its data centers. It is very important to have an opportunity to work with devices practically. But the management is too poor to decide even the simple stuff and due to this there is inadequate training for the employees.

Compared to other competitors organization CBE is better interms of employees satisfaction
The working culture of the bank is good and the hardest part of the job is the work load due to unproportionality between the customers and employees(human resource problem). The bank investing on employees for training and development which helps employees to be competitors, the bank has been expanding its number of branches continuously which helps employees to be assigned at nearest location with better salary, due to the hardworking culture of the bank and quarterly rotation employees learned about hardworking and got general knowledge about the banking activies.
