No integrity, toxic mis-management
I would recommend not applying for work here. I will list reasons and provide examples. These problems occurred mostly on a daily basis. I recommend checking the CNH page as well. Easiest way to get there is outside (I used Google) search for “indeed CNH.” CNH Industrial recently changed their name and although they link their jobs to these reviews (which sometimes seem a bit high on praise and short on words) workers are still posting reviews in CNH (which is how they know the company). Extremely low integrity: Very high level manager acknowledged that high level managers below him were lying about important matters. This did not bother him. I had concerns about workload and management when I hired on and asked a high level manager about them. He lied to me then or I would not have hired on. Toxic work environment: Management solely through negative reinforcement, seemingly without reason other than to dump stress. I was chewed on for half an hour for something that occurred months before I joined and was in a radically different area. Setting feet against new projects, feigning incompetence in the hopes of not getting involved, and stating “thats not my job,” has been beat into what should be a team. People actually hid so as to not be the first person that management saw. Churning, constantly told to reverse course: Was chewed out for not going to a meeting that I was invited to while attending the meeting that conflicted (I was told to never bring a

A company of slave-drivers equipped with supervisors that "lead by intimidation" and employees that are physically and verbally abusive.
CNH changed their name so that readers could not see all the previous horrible reviews about their company. Now they are CNH Industrial and have glowing reviews. Anyone who has read the Indeed Forum Reviews for awhile will know that I am not lying. Don't be fooled. Let me tell you a little bit about this so-called "great company." My first day on the job I was told by one of the supervisors that the company had just gotten over a period where employees were being harassed. I should have read the writing on the wall that day. Every day I was told by my trainer and other employees that the company was not going to keep me. (day and night shift). If I was going too slow installing parts on a tractor, my trainer would literally shove me out of the way, and do the work himself. This behavior was acceptable with one of the supervisors. Most of the new employees were pretty cool, but the veterans were rude, and treated you like you were an idiot. I was expected to complete 13 units on my shift. You are constantly busy and expected to know a lot in a short period of time. You don't have time to waste one minute at this company because of production expectations. My supervisor was always looming over me and lead by "intimidation." He was two-faced and you never knew what to believe from him. He did not give me my reviews when he was supposed to, and always had an excuse. The only superior who seemed to have any brains was the Night Manager. My job was physic

Not Recommended
I would NOT recommend working for this company. The environment is HIGHLY negative and the "us vs. them" mentality is something that most employees possess. There is no teamwork or collaboration between colleagues and it appears that no one either wants to do their job or is competent enough to do it. Many people frequently use the line "it's not my job." Training is non-existent and everyone works against each other rather than together as a team. The surprising thing is that this is encouraged. There is no work flow and a LOT of waste that goes on in various areas of the plant. The union representation is minimal to say the least for anyone employed after 2004. I have seen, heard and experienced several issues that occur while working for this company and the lack of advocacy and representation makes you wonder why you pay dues. If you don't agree to be a part of the union, they encourage harassment and bullying to anyone who is not pro-union. Another big issue is the company's "health services" department. Anyone who suffers a work related injury is treated very poorly and the representatives in the medical room have been known to treat employees in a very unkind, unprofessional and incompetent manner. Every day that you come into work, you will likely be surrounded by people who engage in behaviors full of anger, hatred, backstabbing, and any other negative trait. You would frequently hear others talk about how much they hate their job. The pay is decent but your mental a

Get your feet wet and get out(Plant manufacturing engineer)
Not a bad place to start an engineering career. Engineering in the plant is very fast paced and will keep you busy all day. It's often hard to find down time to take care of "essential job functions" while the plant is running. This almost always leads to working extra hours without pay(salary). Salary employs don't get the respect they deserve and basic amenity such as lunch rooms and break areas are for hourly employees. So many of us eat lunch in our cars so we're not bothered during our short 30 min lunch break... Current management team seems to be more focused on meeting WCM objectives rather than developing solid process to actually improve manufacturing. Current engineering team in the plant has little experience, most less then 3 years(myself included) which makes it very difficult to learn the proper way of doing things and makes it nearly impossible to change current procedures. Turn over rate at this place is ridiculous. Across the board hourly and salary employees seem to change job functions at the drop of a hat. Engineers are dropped into new rolls and expected to preform them without hesitation with no company sponsored training. Overall the work is very demanding and manufacturing engineers in the plant are given ton of responsibility. The problem is you have to spend 5-7+ years working a nearly endless gantlet of engineering changes, process changes, employee turnovers, man power adjustments, and managerial changes before you will get a p

Ups and downs like all places!!
Started out as a packer when the place first opened up(worked there from 04-06)!! Then I was seeing what utility techs do and became interested in that because the job had more perks then being a plain ole packer!!! At first it was a fun easy job....all we did is take the trash hoppers at the end of each packer line or at each area in the plant and dump them at the trash compacter!!! And various other little jobs!! As time went on though when the place got three shifts running lots of harder things got added to the area...weird stuff like hand building skids or repairing broken skids in addition to all the other things we did!! On most days we would come in and there would be loadsss and loads of trash left over from day shift!! Nothing was ever done for a long time then I decided to switch shifts... then that didn't work because then there would be lots of trash left over from seconds!! This was mostly because no one but me wanted to do the work!! Then eventually I went back to packing where I was fired for some made-up reason!! They make you sign a at will employment thing when you get full time..so they do not have to have a reason anyways!! That's OK though because all of the places I've worked at in my life was for play money anyways..never needed to work in the first place ...so...the joke was on them before I walked in the door!! They did give me my 6 months of unemployment (back when ui was normal)!! I give them a good review because ALL places have ups and

Sad to say poor
You work hard and give more time than others and yet your let go over something minimal but yet other company errors that are measured, others are not held accountable for that are mayor plm violations. They hide alot against ceo visits that employees have to hide in order for plant to get a high ratings for high level managers. Employees are scared of retaliation even though management says they have an "open door" policy to voice opinion thats why employees asked for union. Why did it get to that point to where management didn't listen to employees. I believe upper management needs replaced. Employees are dissatisfied with treatment overworked, underpaid n unable to get vacation requests when asked. And in order to get vacation employees need to work a week in advance. Also managment favoritism is thoughout plant. I been with company for almost 10 years and I was proud. I worked with hard, hardly called in sick maybe 2 days a year. Yet others called it regularly but yet not held accountable. Main issue accountability. Im now embarrassed to say i was employed with CNH. I will never recommend company nor product that disrespects employees..sorry. i never complained about any job i had until now when was let go over something minor. And if you want to know.. let me know ill tell you. I have nothing to loose except my dignity which already did...thanks CNH

Decent co-workers, terrible management and benefits
I began working for CNH as a contractor in September of '13. I accepted the job with the understanding that I was a college student and would have to work around my school schedule. At first it was no issue. Most days I was crewed out by lunch due to lack of work at a new facility. After 3 weeks my supervisor and his boss offered me full-time. HR revoked the offer because I had not worked enough hours. Due to their inability to provide 8 hours of work it took me 6 months to attain the appropriate number of hours. After I became a full-time employee they decided to no longer honor the agreement regarding my school schedule. I asked them to honor it through the remainder of the semester and they refused that compromise. Instead I was forced to find a way to make 40 hours. After transferring departments my new supervisor daily attacked and insulted his crew. After three months of trying to make it work I attempted to report the issue to human resources. I was denied access to HR and as a result I resigned. This occurred in September of '14. I have since learned that they are claiming that they fired me. The co-workers are decent people, not always decent workers. If you truly need a job, it's not terrible. If you can avoid working for them, I would strongly suggest it.

Great Coworkers but No Advancement and Bad Management
CNHi offers an unheard of 401(k) matching plan and good healthcare benefits. Most of the people I've worked with are friendly and supportive. That's about as far as positives go. The company as a whole is entirely too bureaucratic. Processes and approvals that should take days end up taking weeks or months. There are too many managers, and a large portion of them don't know the actual workflows they're supposed to be leading. This is partly because the only way to advance your career within CNHi is to job hop within. There is a lot of talk about developing talent, but no real actions. Also, there are no regular raises, and competitive alignments are few and far between. Bonuses are given out based on a "calculation" from individual and company performance but are entirely discretionary (i.e. similar positions with similar salaries with similar performance reviews getting different bonuses). Promotions are practically unheard of, but in rare cases, unqualified individuals can find themselves with a higher position and raise just by getting an outside job offer. To top it all off, CNHi and the brands under it don't even like to give freebies to CNHi employees - you have to buy the stuff yourself.
ProsGood people, 401(k) match

Fast-paced, high standards, constantly evolving to meet customer needs
*Check emails, make sure priorities are the same, perform maintenance needed to create price books into SAP, enter pricing for attachments, download information for verification, distribute and upload information to web application, provide troubleshooting and problem-solving of technical issues, work with helpdesk, create diagnostic and cross-reference tools, work as a team with fellow team members as well as marketing managers, product specialists and sales support. ...Any that came up spur of the moment. *Communication, both within and outside the department, is essential to a productive, smooth-running team. *Managers are generally friendly and approachable. I enjoyed working with my manager very much. *We had an excellent team. Everyone was always willing to pitch in to help so we met deadlines, regardless of who needed help. *It was sometimes difficult when priorities and deadlines collided. Working with an excellent team was key to getting the job done. *It was always a huge relief to know that everyone was covered and didn't have to face a daunting lists of tasks on her/his own.

Mediocre
There is absolutely no work/life balance. The job really isn't hard, very boring and mind numbing but not hard. The pay isn't horrible either. However they require 10 hour days, 5 days a week then your also required to come in on one of your days off. They also give you absolutely no notice if O.T will be required. They'll tell you on the way out the door on Friday that you have to be back for a 10 hour shift on Saturday. You can't get trained on anything because the managers are simply too lazy. The hands on training was 2 hours long , then we were off by ourselves the next day. We were confused and didn't know what to do. I went to my managers for help and they straight up told me they couldn't help me and to find someone who could. They hide from the associates. (This is the training I received for any station in the building I worked in) HR is an absolute mess. Its like they don't even know how to do their job. Very condescending and demeaning when/if they talk to you. The break rooms suck. Theres so many employees that the vending machines are always out of everything. Its hot and humid in the warehouse In overall its very easy money. Just be prepared to work your life away.

Questions And Answers about CNH Industrial

How are the working hours at CNH Industrial?
Asked Jun 30, 2016
You have no family/personal life working here. Mandatory overtime is a result of management not effectively running the lines. You always run out of parts but continue to work overtime as a result of their greed for bonuses.
Answered Apr 14, 2019
Plenty of hours a 50 hour work week is normal.
Answered Jan 22, 2019
What is the vacation policy like at CNH Industrial? How many vacation days do you get per year?
Asked Aug 1, 2017
1 week paid after 1 year of service. 2 weeks after 5 years of service. 3 weeks after 15 years of service. You don't get to use your vacation when you want to. The company forces you to take vacation during their scheduled shutdown period in the summer which Is usually the last week of July and first week of August.
Answered May 14, 2019
If you get vacation days, but can't use the days when you want because the company has two shutdowns a year and they force you to use up all your vacation time to cover those shutdown days, can you really call it vacation? Since when can a company give you vacation and then force you to use it when they want. Just another slimy Case business practice.
