Duties
The clinical supervisor is responsible for the supervision of a team of clinical staff. This position will be responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with established guidelines as well as state/local regulations. This person in this position will manage all aspects of treatment planning, scheduling, documentation and other duties assigned by upper-level management.
Detailed job duties include:
- Provide clinical supervision of the patient population in a multidisciplinary team.
- Provide direct and indirect support to patients and staff, including but not limited to planning, scheduling, training, evaluation, and documentation.
- Analyze data for appropriateness and accuracy within established guidelines.
- Review all reports from physicians regarding progress toward goals.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a supervisory role with an emphasis on health care management and patient care supervision
- Master’s degree preferred but not required
- Must be willing to work overtime when needed for extended periods
- Able to multitask while maintaining confidentiality
