Had lots flexibility
I was not tied to my desk. I had no set time i needed to be in the office. I was not micro managed but certainly favorite's was a problem. I also felt very unsecure about when and if i was going to get laid off.

Great work life balance
Great Work life balance. Can come and go as you please, as longas you get your work done. Paid time off, you can log off and not worry. There is no grinding you down to dust. Pipline to leadership needs work however.

I enjoyed working at Cisco and there management folks I interacted with were stellar. However, I did not have fun selling hardware. I am much more of a software sales person.

I came into Cisco through an acquisition in 2003. I would say that it was overwhelming at first, going from a small company to the Cisco machine. But once we figured out our place in the Cisco world, things ran pretty smoothly for a the next few years.

Great place with all options - hot desking, remote working with very good amenities
Great place with all options - hot desking, remote working and very good amenities in the offices, very cross-cultural making it a fun environment.
Very people friendly, not too many management layers, trust based working style.....being a multinational the reporting is generally not in country which makes trust in your employees a very significant factor.
Overall an excellent place.....no wonder Cisco is the #1 employer in Australia in 2020. Was #2 in 2019 & #3 in 2018 which shows the organization is getting even better.
Also Cisco is among the top 10 ~ 15 Fortune 500 companies for several years which is testimony to the great management style of the organization for a very long period of time.

ConsExtended hours sometimes especially during quarter end & financial year end, but flexibility during the day makes up for it to some extent
