Exciting Place to work
This Company provides the opportunity of a lifetime. From the marketing genius that drives the companies branding to financial systems that support how it reports.

Easy job.
To much layoff, on lest you have seniority. Union is no good. Hilo drivers get paid less than warehouse workers. Some managers talk to you like inappropriate and if you do the same they are quick to right you up. HR harrases you for anything they only care about the company's needs can care less if employees get injured.
ProsUnion benifits.
ConsShort beaks, to much laydoff, pay, management.

Competitive yet fun work enviroment
I worked at the store in customer service, working with customers to ensure the best in store experience.
Most employees were nice, as well as the customers with some exceptions.

Core Artist or Freelance Opportunities
As a Core Artist you are the beauty icon of your territory. You are expected to be the face of education and the brand image. Your expectations for service and sales performance is the highest compared to your counter team. Everyone looks to you for inspiration. If you love exceeding expectations and being a leader, this is the position for you!

Terrible management
No real advancements, a lot of stepping on others to advance their self’s. Corporate environment stressful, expected to work even on your off time. If they don’t want you they will find a way to get you out.

Company Strategies Unrealistic
The company is always trying to be a culture of it's own with unrealistic strategies. Unrelatable for most consumers.
They were unfair with the freelancers for the 20 years that I was associated with them by paying us on a 1099 for full time positions which required us to follow all company rules and regulations as company employees, instead of a W-2 , therefore not paying benefits or expenses. In 2012 they went to paying us through a staffing agency which had it's own set of problems. Still no benefits or expenses.
ProsFlexability
ConsNo benefits, or expenses

A lot of talk. but not action
There is a lot of talk about investing in their people. There are leadership retreats, guest speakers, etc... but nothing is ever implemented. Its just all talk

Very exciting company to work for
I loved working at Chanel and felt tremendous job security in my role. However, for my own development, I chose to leave to find more competitive advancement.

Fast paced and friendly
Fast paced and positive vibes. If you're open to it you can learn a lot of job skills. I learned inventory control and shipping and receiving. The skills you learn can help you become a manager in some environments.
ProsGood benefits
