Duties
The carpet cleaning technician is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of carpets, rugs, upholstery, furniture and draperies. This position requires an individual to perform their job safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety at all times. We are looking for someone who has experience with carpet cleaning or other related fields (eg: carpet repair) but also has previous knowledge about commercial carpet cleaning techniques/methods.
Detailed job duties include:
- Perform all cleaning duties in accordance with company policies.
- Clean carpet, rugs, draperies and upholstery.
- Clean floors according to manufacturer's instructions (ie: dusting, mopping, waxing).
- Maintain the appearance of your work area including but not limited to floor coverings, carpet trimmers, stain removal, spot cleaning, stripping, polishing and buffing.
Qualification
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability and willingness for continuous learning, both in person and online
- Must have reliable transportation (no more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years)
- Excellent customer service skills and communication skills as well as ability to work independently or on your own initiative
