The cake decorator will be responsible for creating beautiful cakes using various techniques including: cutting, decorating, mixing and applying colors; making sure all of their creations meet or exceed customer expectations; designing custom cakes according to client specifications; setting up displays as needed.

Duties

The cake decorator is responsible for the creation of a variety and varied cakes, including cake toppers, cupcakes, desserts, etc. This position requires an individual who can work independently or as part of a team to create unique and memorable confections that are both visually stunning and taste great. They must be comfortable working with people from all backgrounds.

Detailed job duties include:

Create and maintain a professional, clean and organized work environment
Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest quality of service is provided for each customer
Maintain an orderly appearance and proper levels of cleanliness throughout the production process as well providing excellent customer service through communication between customers and supervisory staff
Adhere to established safety standards when handling food or other materials
