Joining the army was to give my self a discipline, manner and responsibility. I always enjoyed the working and team mates were the key to sucess. Every day was different for me and managing those task given by supperior were challenging most of the time.I was given chance to talk with people and get intracted, which helped me be friend and get what it needs to complete the task. My job never let me feel hard.

Excellent career doged by poor management
Offering a full career to those that have the vocation but must be able to self manage and motivate as most managers are self centred on there own career progression.
Still stuck in the old ways of social position and old school tie which does not always let the cream rise to the top.

Not for everyone
I loved my time in the Army but it’s a serious business and not for everyone. If you can’t handle doing as you are told look elsewhere. It’s often very hard work and very long hours but the rewards are fantastic.

A way of life rather than just a career.
I'll not review the British Army.
I will however comment on how well it works, its personnel work and its strong commitment & work ethic compared to what little I have witnessed and feel subjected to now working within the Civilian sector.
I didn't appreciate the personnel and their hard work & commitment as mush as I do now, having seen how much better and proactive military are compared to our civilian counterparts.
I knew I worked with good individuals but having seen that the grass is far from greener now I've retired. I look back with devote admiration, respect and pride.

A good place to develop skills
A good place to develop skills. Excellent progression opportunities and definitely a diverse working day. As with any organisation, there is a mixture of good and not so good managers.

Productive
A typical day at work consists of waking up in the early morning doing a hard physical training session, vehicle maintenance, communications equipment maintenance and fault finding, managing of stock incoming and outgoing, as well as organizing of the team to achieve our days goals in terms of time keeping and job allocation. hardest part of the job is keeping on schedule with the tight timings required by supply and demand of equipment. most enjoyable is our downtime and the travel experience

Brilliant
Loved the military even in the bad times, the training and discipline is only as hard as you make it and the physical training can at times be demanding but you get fitter and travel the world.

Productive and rewarding place to work
The work I did there was very rewarding and very busy. I had a lot of interpersonal relations with the people I had to support which was extremely satisfying, to help and support families that were in the forces.

Chance to see the world and experience a whole range of experiences. Although fun and rewarding, you must commit a lot of time to the job and it may affect your personal life.

Fun
Every day in the Corps is completely different.
Whether your training for Afghanistan, or training in Norway doing a CWWC you are under exactly the same pressures and training in some of the harshest environments in the world, doing some of the hardest training you could do in the world.
