Bad management
Did not have a pleasant exeprience other than good pay.
BP seems to put the wrong people on management jobs, at least in IT. Non-inclusive environment, all indians, at least in the organization where i worked.

Well balanced work and flexible time, management is very supportive and the pay is very generous based on your qualification and skill.
Working with BP is a very memorable one. Looking forward to work with BP at first opportunity comes along. The management is very supportive and the company provides a decent accommodation and vehicle to go to work. BP provided a round-trip business class air ticket from my domicile to work assignment.

Good place to work.
During my time at BP, it was great. I made sure the team had a good time everyday and that they were appreciated for the hard work and long hours.
My Director left it up to me to not only help him but help manage the team, so making it a fun place to come into was important to not only me but to them.
I gave respect and was given respect back. We had a great time!

Nice Company to work for
BP was a fun place to work at before the multiple reorganizations of the company. That created a lot of tension with the employees but prior to the reorgs, it was a good place to work.

Good people culture and very strong on looking out for each other, especially during lockdown, as well as bringing some fun to endless calls.
A strong culture which, starts at the top of the organisation with actions to create an inclusive workplace. A genuine drive to do better when it comes to the environment - active listening, collaboration, and leaders walking the talk.

Work needed to promote better culture
Dependant on the level you sit at is how this company value your work life balance, Management work from home frequently when the grunts of the business must attend the office irrelevant to what they have on in their home life. Alot of double standards more a do as i say not as i do culture

productive and valuable experience but low pay (especially if you are local employee)
Very good company to gain experience. Extensive experience in different areas, valuable experience. But the management is extremely mean, does not like to spend money on employees. They do pay rise and promotion for some people and ask to keep that confidential eventhough in the meetings and townhalls they talk about transparency. Remarkable discrimination between local and expat employees. Expats earn about 10-15 times more salary than the local doing the same job.
