Coworkers arguing on Facebook with each other and other managers. Rude comments constantly being made. Blatant disrespect infront of customers. Overall selfish establishment all together.

The brand struggles to reinvent itself for the current market
The brand struggles to determine its relevance in today's marketplace. The business model has not evolved to attract new generational users. They have not created a strategy that overcomes today's business obstacles or changes in competition.
ProsHigh quality offerings and catering options
ConsUnable to compete with lower cost competitor options
Challenging roles and a quality product, but poor corporate leadership
Over the years the company made bad decision after bad decision between constantly shifting ownership. This cost the company tons of tenured staff and the closing of a huge portion of it's locations. Disconnected from industry standards and seemingly unable to adapt to economical and technological updates.
Rigid corporate SOPs completely unable to procure or utilize feedback internally.

Productive and friendly work environment
Overall, Boston Market is a great company to work for. It offers a great work environment in addition t good management. Also, the food is very good and fresh.
A typical day at Boston Market consists of prepping, cleaning, interaction with customers, and handling money. The hardest part is not having all the tools necessary to do your job.
ConsShort or no breaks.

Fast paced enviornment always keeping me on my toes.
A typical shift for me starts around 2 pm, I come in and make sure my shift is set up. This means I check how much product I have to sell, making sure the til's are counted down from the last shift and counted up for the new shift, gathering up the trash, making sure the lobby is clean and appealing for customers, and then I make sure my paper work is printed out for that night. When my crew members come in for their shift I make sure that the are assigned to the correct position and I give them a couple goals to meet within that shift. As the shift goes on through the night I run around to every position, wherever help is needed. I usually deal heavily with customers, making sure they are satisfied with the service, product, and the facility. My store closes at 10 pm and from there I close a position(differs each shift) and then I complete my paperwork, which includes prep sheets, inventory, and other reconciliation forms. My shift ends at 11 pm by checking out my employees, making sure their position was closed properly and securely locking up the store.
From this job I have learned a lot, considering this was my first job as a manager, I learned just how to professional manager a somewhat large group of people. This job has helped me develop my time management and multitasking skills even more than previous jobs. I think the hardest part of the job is always being under pressure, but I am extremely efficient and productive under pressure. I would have to say the most enj
Prosgood hours, decent money, and diverse culture.
Consno breaks, no raises, and no way to grow within the company.
The company was limited with staff/employees to assist in sales
Very fast paced work schedule was flexible. I had multiple positions, working with the customers one on one, ordering, cooking, working as a cashier, server, clean up, prep work. Closing after hours.
ProsFriendly atmospher
ConsLimited help

great work environment
show up, prep all meats for day, clean anything in work space, prep for sandwiches/ salads, carve meat, serve orders, and clean up dining and kitchen when finished
I cant speak for other places but this job was horrendous, employees were yelled at called lazy and demeaning words, no true respect unless it was for their benefit, the benefits weren't respected either, I was told I couldnt get my free meal because I was clocked out, and my manager would clock me out while I was working for a lot of hours and later she would revise it on the computer so it doesn't show up as overtime and she offered me cash to work another person's shift even though they were cashiers and the pay rate is different, 0311 location is plain awful and dont recommend anyone working there.
