Great first job
It was a fairly easy job to pick up on but other things came with it. The employees there were great people. The pay was low but it’s was a first job so no complaining.

Very healthy and enjoyable workplace.
Great for anyone just starting out to get their first taste of what a first job can really be. Overall I've had a great experience working there and everyone is very nice and very willing to help.

Overall a good first job
Auntie Anne's was my very first job and overall I enjoyed my experience there, the only reason I left was for a better opportunity and I felt as if I had out grown my position there.

Interesting place to work with a lot of challenges
I enjoyed this job because everyday there was something different. I love interacting with people and developing my social skills. I enjoyed going to work ever day, meeting new people. It allowed me to come out of my shell and develop my social skills. I learned the proper way to count cash and handle issues with customers. A typical day for me was after clocking in, I would count my drawer, making sure it was correct. I would then help customers at the register. If we were slow, I would cut up fruit and prepare food for smoothies. I would make pretzels and prepare foods for the warmer.
ProsLearning about my strengths
ConsI need to develop my problem solving skills

Pretzel Paradise
This store opens at 11 am. We keep pretzels fresh and roll them every 30 minutes. The management in the store is good however when it moves up the chain there is tension between the owners and manager. The most enjoyable part of the job is working with the crew, because they are all easy going and good workers.

baked and sold food
general cleaning duities
I worked part time but wanted more hours and they were not able to do that for me. I didn't end up working there for very long. There was also a language barrier between myself and the manager making it very difficult for me to communicate.

I have no comments on this business.Honestly, it was so long ago that it would not be a fair reflection. I do recall my manager being very understanding.

Productive and fun workplace
The job is very simple, but also a lot of work. From this job I have learned leadership skills that I feel will help me in todays work environment. My co-workers and managers are what make the store a productive and fun environment. They make it feel like a family environment. The most enjoyable part of the job is satisfying customers, and seeing a smile on their faces when they leave.
ProsFree food
ConsShort breaks, no benefits
