Overall Reviews at Archer Daniels Midland

Good
It’s a pretty food job. Some of the foreman’s will disrespect you but if you keep a calm and good attitude you’ll be fine. Don’t miss any days and take all the overtime.

Challenging work environment
Unlimited troubleshooting opportunities due to the process. The challenging work environment allows ability to learn and refine skills. Many aspects of electrical, pneumatic, and instrumentation tasks are tackled every shift.

Good pay
Not real hard work but fast pace. Most jobs were rotation of shifts that is hard to get use to. Benefits are good. Company furnished personal protective equipment and uniforms.

was a good company to work with, but the swing shift was causing medical issues to me.
committed to safety, was a process/fermentation operator. overlooked and made adjustment, took samples, and watched trends and recorded logs on processes to ensure product specifications, learned how to trouble shoot equipment the importance of clean and safe working enviroment, trained in lockout/tagout procedures as well as good manufacturing practices, the hardest part of my job was working a 7 day rotating swing shif,.most enjoyable was that in my 13+ years of employment i meet and made new friends, took pride in running processes to best of my abilit,. and made a good living.
Proslearned the importance of safety on and off the job, worked within a team environment and meet alot of good friend, got payed well for my hard work and for my committement to archer daniels midland.

Corporate
this company depending in the department it was busy, noisy, or very quiet. The opportunity to learn and deal with customers across the world was really fun and interesting. Learn a lot about various commodities as well. The hardest part was attempting to move up in a department.
Proscafeteria food was cheap and very good
Consmanagement not always the best

Very Exciting and fast paced
It was a great experience learning the systems at each location. All three locations are very different, ran differently and are very challenging. I was very fortunate to be able to move around like i did to gain the experience,
