Duties

The appliance technician is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of all types and models of commercial kitchen appliances. This includes: cleaning, servicing, installing, troubleshooting and maintaining various equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, microwave ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, etc.

Detailed job duties include:

• Performs all repairs on a variety of appliances including gas, electric and water heaters.
• Installs new or replacement parts as needed to meet customer needs.
• Performs minor repairs such that they are not necessary for the repair work performed by the technician in his/her assigned area (equipment, tools, etc).
• Maintains equipment in accordance with company standards while performing job duties at home using proper techniques and procedures.

Qualification

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability and willingness for continuous learning, both in person and over the phone
• Must have reliable transportation (no more than 2 moving violations)
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of employees including supervisors/managers as well as customers
