it was close to home
the hospital owner was a moron. there were basic supplies that i could not get because he did not want to spend the money. Truth is I am glad the place closed. patients deserve better than what they got at Apollo Hospital. That being said I did have my complement of stents and balloons so no one suffered in that respect.

Staff Nurse at Apollo Hospital
Apollo was a small hospital. 10 beds and Oncology suite, with one day surgery and ER.
I felt like they gave you opportunity for change and advancement if you wanted. I learned a lot while working there. Returning to the hospital setting after a few years and so many changes along the way. But, they always made you feel comfortable to ask questions and were available for more education if needed.
Prosopportunity for different departments if you wanted to change
ConsNight shift was not for me. Was glad when I had the opportunity to transfer to days.

We were like a family
I was one of the original employees. we were like a family and our infection rate was below average nd we were a general hospital. we were all treated fairly and everyone enjoyed their jobs. it was to bad that a horrible company like CHI bought us out and then closed our hospital.

Horrible
The facility was run extremely poorly for years until the company was bought out by CHI St. Lukes. All three facilities were shut down just after being purchased.

Worst place to work.
The corporate culture of Apollo(Belapur,Navi Mumbai) maybe best for patients/beneficiary,but a nightmare for employees.
The working shifts are horrible, the working conditions so hectic, the seniors (pathologists,HOD,HR) are the hunters who take a whiplash at you time and again, and best part is the management is least bothered about nothing.

No benefits
No benefits offered to full time employees, they take away overtime and did not pay. lab manager was decent and knowledgeable.

I worked in neonatal ICU. I took vitals of neonates everyday and write the history and all the treatment plan. I present history and treatment plan in front of my supervisor.

2.Tell the customers about their medication and route of administration of drugs.
Behavior of co-workers was very good. Work like a Team member. cooperation of all team members was the most enjoyable part of the job.

It's a fun place to work...I really enjoy my job
As a mid level cardiologist of a 450 bedded tertiary level multi-disciplinary hospital need to perform 60 echocardiography (2D & color Doppler), 50 trade-mill tests. Used to report 24 hours Holter monitoring, assist in coronary interventions. Need to supervise management of 20 bedded highly equipped Coronary Care Unit, also need to manage all kinds of referral from different departments.
ProsHelping seniors, friendly coleagues, Free lunch
ConsSalary is not upto the mark.....

Good For Fresher
Good platform for freshers
but after you gain some experience you feel like no one cares about you and your experience and knowledge.
Seniors are good but super seniors are very bad and rudely behave with juniors.

Good and clean environment
I had a good experience in working apollo hospital . I learnt how to attend the customers and maintain good relationship with the regular customers . Keep a track of medicines relating to health of customers according to the doctors prescribed to take for customers .
I also had a advantage of having a track of the regular customers. I enjoyed a lot of working in apollo pharmacies.

Good Enough work place
The work place is good, but the salary is too low, the H.Rs are bad, they don't listen to the candidates. They say something and will act another thing. Will never say about the third party payments but eventually the candidate will come to know.
