Overall Reviews at Aon

Great company
Great place to work, I have no complaints other than the pay and location, which is why I left to go to another company.
The interview process was long but company was good.

Fast Paced
Organization is fast paced and looking for self starters and for independent people who can learn remotely regardless of circumstances. Management is often times busy and challenging to gain appropriate training.

Job and work balance is great and it is a very efficient, reliable, and diverse place to work
AON was one one the best places i worked at.It is one of the best places to work in achieving work and family balance.Their benefits and human resource support is great. I got so much experience there in different departments with multi-tasking on projects.I actually became very creative and innovative which helped me in my current innovation and technology skills development today, and now,i train people especially the youth on innovation and technology skills for enterpreneurship in both the business and technology area
ProsGreat health care and flexibility of work

Avoid
Below market wages. Dinosaur of a company with no clear path to innovation. Using antiquated platforms. Someone either has to retire or die in order for you to be considered for a promotion.
Pros9-5 job
ConsWages, lack of management leadership

Place for temps
Typical day at work was to receive workload and just do it
Learned about medicines
Management is something to be desired
Just do your job and make the best of it

For a temp job it's okay
I have to say that the training I got was very good, and got my license out of it. They need to concentrate on whether or not to be a little more honest in terms of keeping their temps up to date.

Company in transition but on the right track
I believe Aon Technology is absolutely heading in one consistent direction that will ultimately lead in to a truly global organization
ProsHeading in the right direction
ConsMoving awfully fast

Okay
A Happy office and enjoyed it there. Should have stayed and not been tempted to leave. A bit dusty and dirty due to the renovation work, but when finished should be very nice. Don't know how long AON will stay there though as they are making a lot of staff reductions
