The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing apps in Android as well as iOS devices. This role requires strong technical skills including knowledge of JavaScript, Python, Ruby, C#. An experienced developer should also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Duties

We are looking for an Android developer to join our team. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work on mobile applications and develop new features, apps or services that will help us deliver better experiences in the market. The ideal candidate should have experience working with iOS devices (iOS/Android) as well as developing custom app development tools such assistive development tools like App Store, Google Play, etc. Experienced developers must be proficient at writing code using JavaScript, Python, C#, Ruby.

Detailed job duties include:

• Develop and maintain a robust development team that will be responsible for the development of mobile applications.
• Develop, test and support Android apps in an agile environment with minimal supervision from senior developers.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful implementations are delivered on time and within budget.
• Analyze user needs and develop solutions using existing tools such as JIRA.
• Provide technical assistance by developing new features through code reviews, testing and documentation.
• Conduct mockups (required).

Qualification

• Experience with Android development tools (i.e, Xcode).=
• Knowledge of the latest mobile operating systems and their applications in general; including but not limited to: iOS, Android Wear, Google Chrome, Safari, etc.
• Strong understanding of how to develop apps for both iOS and Android devices using JavaScript or other programming languages such as Ruby on Rails/Javascript
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision while working under tight deadline requirements
