It's a CALL CENTER, AFNI. We're not curing cancer here, get over yourselves, management.
I needed ANY job fast. Big mistake. After 5 weeks of training, I was LOST with the first call. To them, employees are their statistics-which are rigged to keep you from bonusing. I earned one-never got it. MGMT? worthless. Need help? Ask someone else. Health insurance? Aw, you missed the deadline that we didn't tell you about. Have to wait a YEAR. RUN away. FAST.
ProsI usually work in healthcare, so, I didn't have one lick of experience. Didn't matter. Hired on the spot.
ConsI got the job.

Great training to get you started
Management was there for you, doing everything that they can to help you. Great work environment. Once on the production floor or working from home you always have a support system.

Overall good place to work
AFNI has good management, and an overall good culture. They allow for time off if you need it, no questions asked. The benefits are comparable with other companies it's size. They do have a type of metric system, where you are graded based on how much work you do in a day, balanced with your quality, but they aren't dogmatic about it. I did not work in the Call Center, but did clerical work all day. I am thinking the Call Center has more strict rules as to breaks and lunch to make sure phones are covered. In the area I worked, they were flexible, as long as you had your 40 hours.
You are required to work 40 hours for full time, so time off must be covered by PTO or you make up the time. Overall, I would recommend the company.
ProsFlexible with time off, breaks, lunch...work flow
ConsPay is not as high as some other companies for the same work

Pretty good overall
What made the job bearable was the people I was able to work with. The management was really good especially my coach, she worked with me. Now as for the job itself the pay is pretty good and you have the opportunity to bonus, based off your attendance and your metrics so that's a plus. But it's very fast pace and can be stressful if you take what the customer says personally. Also, the support on the floor can be limited but usually on Fridays and Saturdays there's enough help. I think many people can succeed here if they put in the work. Ask as many questions you can in the call and from a supervisor cause it's going to help you in the long run. But it's very unsantitary, they have bed bugs and you don't have assigned seats.
ProsLong lunches, the managment, the co-workers, work life balance, pay and benefits
ConsSitting down all day, can be stressful, unsanitary

Afni
Afni is one of the greatest places i ever worked. The Team i was on was great . After 6 Months I was promoted to help desk level 1 where the reps assigned to me would transfer their calls to me if they cold not diffuse the situation. and i would do my best not to have to send them any higher up the supervisor chain. It was awsom

Productive and fun with a lot of social/group work.
Afni. although stressful at times was a fun place to work. You made friends easily, no one was afraid to ask questions or seek help and you felt comfortable. While working at Afni I advance my computer skills and my customer service constantly. The management there was great as well, they had weekly group meetings to tell us what was going on differently with our products and to let us know the goal for that week. They also had weekly individual meetings to see how comfortable people were with what they were doing, what they needed to work on and what they were excelling at.
